Blinds: 250,000/500,000
Ararat Abramyan kicked off the action with a raise to 2,000,000, and Ara Bekmezian moved all in for 2,800,000. From the small blind, Behzad Teranie confirmed that Abramyan would not be able to raise before he called, and Abramyan did as well.
The flop came [10s][8s][5s] and Teranie led for 900,000. Abramyan called, and after the [7c] turn, Teranie upped the aggression with a bet of 3,300,000. Abramyan thought for about a minute before calling, and the river was the [Qd].
Teranie bet one more time, 2,750,000, and this time Abramyan released his hand. “I have a set,” Teranie said as he showed [5c][5h], and Bekmezian showed that he had gotten unlucky and tabled [6h][6s].
With that, we are down to the final nine.
