Blinds: 400,000/800,000

Xuan Nguyen raised to 2,100,000 under the gun, and it folded to short stack Clayton Holloway on the button. He counted his chips out a couple of times before moving all in after thinking for about a minute. In the big blind, Sohale Khalili looked down at his cards, and then quickly slid his stack of 13,000,000 into the middle.

Nguyen got a count, and then looked at Khalili and said “I think you have Ace-King, I’m folding Ace-Queen,” and showed [Ac][Qc]. He had it nailed, as Khalili showed [Ah][Kd], dominating the [Kh][Qh] of Holloway.

The flop of [9h][8d][2h] gave Holloway flush draw outs, but the [9d] turn and [4c] river didn’t help, sending him to the payout desk in seventh. That knockout propels Khalili to second in chips with about 22,000,000 though he is still well behind the chip lead of Marc Fiorentino.
