On the final hand of the event, the board had finished out [Qh][Js][4s][2s][6h] when Hieu Le moved all in for 3,700,000. It was a bit more than the pot, and was a huge call for Pedro Rincon. If he called and was behind, Le would take over the chip lead. After about 90 seconds in the tank, he spiked down chips for the call.
Le quickly shook his head a bit, seemingly in defeat, as he tabled [10s][6d] for missed spades that rivered a pair, and Rincon slammed down [Ks][Jh] and started to celebrate with his friend on the rail.
Le would have to settle for the second place prize of $32,450, while Rincon will take home the WSOPC Ring, a seat into the National Championship later this year, and $48,955 to boot. Congratulations again to both players on their impressive runs.
