Dave Banerjee and Zewdie Wondimagegn got in nearly identical stacks of 5,300,000 each after a flop of [Kh][9h][3h], creating one of the biggest pots of the final table so far. Banerjee had [Kc][Qh] for top pair and a flush draw, and would need to catch up, as Wondimagegn showed [Kd][9d] for top two pair.
No further help would come for Banerjee, as the board finished out [5c] and [4d]. It’s another impressive run for the former Mega Millins champion, who will have to settle for a payday of $8,215.
