Blinds: 500,000/1,000,000
David Uvaydov raised nearly all of his chips preflop, and a few seats over, Steven Kim shoved all in, having him just covered. Action folded back to Uvaydov, who took one more peek at his cards before saying “let’s gamble,” and called.
Uvaydov: [Ad][Kc] Kim: [9c][9h]
The flop of [Js][10d][7d] gave Uvaydov four more outs for a straight, and the [2d] turn gave him even more outs for a flush. However, the [2c] completed the board, keeping the nines in the lead, and knocking Uvaydov.
It’s a disappointing ending for Uvaydov, who as we’ve mentioned before, played in 32 of the 33 starting flights in this event, and ended up with a good profit, as he takes home nearly $36,000.
Three more hands will be played tonight, before we wrap up play.
