Action folded around to James Millard in the small blind, and he shoved all in with [Jc][8c]. In the big blind, David Cabrera Polop called to put him at risk with [As][7c].
The flop smashed Cabrera Polop, coming down [Ad][Qc][7d], and Millard needed running cards now. Ht caught the [8h] on the turn for some minor hope, but the [10d] completed the board.
It’s quite an impressive result for Millard, who follows up his third-place finish in this event in April with an eighth-place showing here.
