Ostapchenko, Cross, and Kimball Bag Big

By July 29, 2023No Comments

After 13 levels of play today, a starting field of 384 players has been narrowed down to the final five tables, as 45 players remain. Andrew Ostapchenko took a nice pot off former chip leader Peter Cross in one of the last hands of the night, bagging just under six million in chips for the lead. Cross just made a major final table here in April when he finished third in the WSOPC Main Event, and is still in the top five to end the day. Start of day chip leader Jeffrey Kimball is also over five million and one of the leaders.

Some of the other notables moving on tomorrow include Adam Swan (3,350,000), Hermilo “Taxi” Vargas (2,700,000), Esa Homayun (1,475,000), and Phong “Turbo” Nguyen (1,170,000).

The action resumes again tomorrow at 1 PM, where a winner will be determined, so be sure to come back then for more updates. Until then, good night!
