Based on the current field in the $1,000 buy-in Omaha 8 Event, it looks like two more players will be advancing to tomorrow’s Day 2 finals in the Mixed Game Championship. That means that, at the moment, we are looking at a Day 2 field of just 19 players, who will be battling in this prizepool that is likely to see an overlay of over $50,000.
We are currently projecting a first place prize of around $50,000 for this event, and players who have yet to qualify can buy-in directly tomorrow for $3,800 to get 200,000, an average stack in a very short field.
