Payman Arjang Eliminated In 7th Place ($12,100)

Blinds: 15,000/30,000

After a raise from Adam Miller to 65,000, Payman Arjang three bet to 175,000, leaving himself just 300,000 behind. It folded back to Miller, who thought for about a minute before shoving all in. Arjang quickly called with the short stack, and a dominating hand, [Ah][Kh] to the [Ac][Qs] of Miller.

The flop of [10d][8d][3d] didn’t look to help either player, as neither had a diamond, but the [Js] turn gave Miller a handful of outs with a two-way straight draw, and the [9h] river completed that straight.

Miller jumped up to nearly two million after that hand, while also eliminating a dangerous player at this final table.
