Spunt showed [9h][7h] for an open-ended straight draw, and while the [2s] turn didn’t change anything, the [3d] river did, completing a straight on the board, but giving Spunt the winning hand with his seven high straight.
Spunt doubled up to nearly three million, while Salunga is now one of the shorter stacks.
