The first flight of the day is in the books, and former Mega Millions champion Larry Quang bagged the lead from a packed field of 13 players advancing from this flight. Quang called a three bet shove on the bubble with pocket deuces, and was flipping against his opponent’s Ace-Ten. An ace came right on the flop, and players were getting ready to go on their scheduled break, but suddenly, the dealer pealed a third deuce on the river to give Quang the knockout.
He bagged up 693,000 in chips, just outpipping Bike regular Vanik Azizian, who bagged 679,000. Other players moving on from this flight include former Mega Millions winner Phuoc Nguyen, and Bike regulars Karo Davtyan and Phillip Zangwell.
