Rick Mechammil seemed mostly card dead throughout the final table, and he shoved his now short stack in from the cutoff preflop holding [As][2c]. However, Jose De Paz Oscal was next to act, and called to put him at risk with [Ac][Jc].
The flop of [5c][3c][3d] brought Mechammil some chop outs, but he wouldn’t need those, as the [2s] came on the turn to suddenly give him the lead. That lead was short lived though, as the [7c] river gave De Paz Oscal a winning flush, getting us down to our final five in the process.
