Blinds: 80,000/160,000
Jonah Lopas raised to 325,000 on the button, and Sami Bechahed three bet from the small to 1,175,000. Lopas thought for about a minute before calling, and the flop came down [Ac][Qs][7s]. Bechahed fired 725,000, and Lopas called to see the [9s] hit the turn.
Bechahed slowed down with a check, and Lopas went for a bet of 1,300,000. Bechahed didn’t take very long to call, and the [10h] completed a scary looking board. Bechahed checked again, and Lopas rechecked his cards and thought for about a minute, looking rather disappointed as he checked.
His disappointment turned to relief as Bechahed showed [As][Ad] for top set, and Lopas cracked a big smile as he tabled [Qh][Qd] for second set, saying “Wow I should be out of this tournament.”
Lopas is still second in chips, but Bechahed has extended quite a big lead on the final four now, as he has his eyes set on banner #2.
