We mentioned earlier that former Bike tournament director, and creator of this Quantum format Mo Fathipour, is still vying for this prestigious title, though his stack had taken a big hit when we walked up to the table. Big stack Erhan Iscan raised to 175,000, and got two callers, before Fathipour shoved for 275,000. After confirming that he could reraise, Iscan did just that, and pushed the rest of the players out, making for some nice added money for Fathipour, who was now just heads up.

A classic flip turned into a near runaway after the flop came [Js][9c][5h], giving Fathipour a set, but Iscan could still hit a queen for a gutter. The lady didn’t arrive though, and Fathipour jumped back up to over a million, a bit more than he started the day with.
