We walked up to a massive pot already in the works between Andrew Wisdom and Mike Eskandari, and Eskandari in the middle of a long tank. Table mate Ben Nguyen caught us up on the action.
Wisdom started with a raise, only to see Eskandari three bet in the small blind. Eskandari would check the [Jc][9c][4s] flop, and Wisdom fired 2.5 million. Eskandari called, and the [6d] hit the turn. This time, Eskandari led out for 6,700,000, only to see Wisdom go all in, shoving for 7,500,000 on top of that bet.
Eskandari tanked for over three minutes before calling, and Wisdom showed [Kc][10c] for straight and flush draws. Eskandari looked a bit dejected as he showed [Qc][10h] for a straight draw of his own. Wisdom didn’t need to improve, but he did so with the [6c] river, and just like that, Wisdom is our massive chip leader with 36,000,000, while Eskandari is suddenly a short stack.
