Scott Aulds had just taken a big chunk of Thu Nguyen’s stack, when he turned trip threes to best the flopped pair of kings for Nguyen. Nguyen would then shove all in for his final three million preflop with [Ks][5s], and Aulds would call to put him at risk with [Qc][Jc].
The flop of [As][5h][2d] didn’t change much, and the [Kh] turn paired Nguyen, but did mean a ten would work now for Aulds. The river was another ace though, and Nguyen doubled up, though he is still behind.
