Luis Concha was all in pre flop and well behind, with [Ad][5d] trailing the pocket queens of Lek Bunyaananta. The flop of [9s][8c][5h] gave Concha bottom pair, and a six on the turn brought some chop outs. The chop wouldn’t come, but the [5s] did come, giving him trip fives. Concha thought for a moment he was eliminated, before going “Oh whoops…a five” and realized he had rivered a straight.
On the next hand, Bunyaananta would find a double up of his own, with pocket kings agains the Ace-Three of Kevin Babayan, who is now the short stack after that interaction.
