It is time to kick off the first of two starting sessions here today in our $500,000 Guaranteed Parkwest Classic III. Yesterday saw LA Poker Roundup co-host Derek Kwan bagged an even million chips for a huge lead early on. Just like yesterday, we have an $1,100 buy-in today that will give players 40,000 in chips to start with.
Registration for this session will be open until 4:00 PM tonight, which is also when our second flight will be starting up. In both sessions, the top 12% will be in the money, and on to the Day 2 finals on Sunday.
