After a raise from big stack James Hatch, David Phillips moved all in from the small blind with pocket eights. He was flipping against the [Ac][Jd] shown by Hatch, who picked up more outs on the flop of [Kc][Kh][10h]. He wouldn’t need them though, as the [Ah] came on the turn to give him a better two pair.
No miracle on the river meant that just five players remain, with Hatch and Pamela Rich duking it out for the lead.
