It took nearly 11 hours today to get to our final field of 24 players here in the first of two Day 2 restarts on Mega Millions XXIX. We have plenty of familiar faces moving on tonight, including three former champions of this event: Charlie Du, Phil Laak, and Phuoc Nguyen (pictured above), who bagged the biggest stack of the three with 3,585,000 in chips, also one of the biggest bags of the night.
Also moving on from this session are Jared Griener, Alex Farahi, and Nick Grippo, who looks to have the biggest stack with nearly four million. Remember that tomorrow our Day 2B restarts at the same time as today, 12 PM, and will also play down to the top 15% of the final field number.
