There are plenty of former champions still remaining in our final 54 players, but there are also a few other players in the field who have a banner on the wall, including our second Parkwest Classic Champion Sohale Khalili (pictured above).
Khalili was sitting on a below average stack, when he got his final 600,000 chips in the middle holding [Ad][Qh], against the [10s][10c] of his opponent Pete Rumelyan. The runout of [Jd][9h][8h][Kd][10h] provided plenty of roller coaster action, with the river giving Rumelyan a set of tens, but also giving Khalili a broadway straight.
The chips were counted, and Khalili scored a virtual full double up to 1,300,000 with that hand.
