Fresh Counts From Our Final 54

By August 19, 2025No Comments

Over at Table 3, Mike Eskandari, Fausto Valdez, and Phil Laak (pictured above) were all having a lively conversation about a big hand that had just played out at the table. It ultimately saw Laak get his chips in preflop with pocket tens against his opponent’s pocket kings. There was also some dead side money from Ben Nguyen, who had folded pocket queens, a hand that Eskandari had called as Nguyen was tank folding.

Laak would ultimately find a third ten on the flop, and just like that, he is up to over average chips with four million. Laak is looking for his second banner here at the Bike, after winning the Mega Millions here last October.
