Blinds: 400,000/800,000
Derek Gregory raised on the button, and big stack Corey Brass called in the big blind. The flop of [9c][2d][2h] saw Brass check to Gregory, who fired 1,500,000. Brass went for a check-raise to 4,200,000, only to see Gregory click it back and make it 8,200,000 to go.
Brass called, and the [8s] came on the turn. Brass quickly checked, and Gregory thought for quite some time before betting 9,850,000. Brass instantly announced call, and the [4h] came on the river.
Brass snap checked a third time, and Gregory once again took his time before moving all in for 10 million even. Brass said he didn’t think he could fold before tossing in the call, and Gregory rolled over [Jh][Jd] for jacks up.
Brass had [9d][8c] for a lesser two pair, and a mountain of chips was shipped over to Gregory. He is now the leader with over 56,000,000, while Brass is now second with about 45,000,000.
