Blinds: 400,000/800,000
Richard Hasnip and David Phillips just played a massive pot in a battle of the blinds, that has seen Hasnip potentially take over as the chip leader. There was already about seven million in the middle on the turn of a board showing [7c][5s][2c][2s] when Hasnip fired a hefty bet of six million.
Phillips rechecked his cards, and ultimately moved all in, setting Hasnip all in. He looked a bit surprised by the bet, but ultimately dropped chips in for the call and showed [As][Ac]. Phillip shook his head and showed [Kc][Kd] for an inferior overpair, and the [8d] river changed nothing.
The chips were counted down, and after the dust settled, Hasnip was left as new chip leader with 48 million, while Phillips is down to 43,000,000.
