An eventful day of poker here at the Parkwest Bicycle Casino is in the books, and thanks in large part to a lengthy money bubble, play went to nearly midnight tonight. Leading the way for the night is Ryan Mechammil (pictured above), who comes into the event flying high off a 3rd place showing in the Parkwest Classic just last week. He ends the night with 4,470,000 in chips. Mechammil also told us that his dad, Hassan was playing in the event today as well, and managed to find a bag as well, though it’s about a tenth the size of his son’s.
Recent Mini Mega Millions final table finisher Kyle Prior is behind him in second, while fellow final tablist Mike Brown is also still alive and looking to make both MM final tables this series. Also advancing tonight are Phil Laak, Michael Liang, Dylan Linde, Albyn Bello, and Chester Burnett.
