Corey Brass raised it up from late position, and Nissar Quraishi (pictured above) defended his big blind. The flop came down [9s][8s][4h], and the two exchanged raises until Quraishi moved all in, Brass snap called with [9d][9h] for top set, and Quraishi could only shake his head as he tabled [4d][4c] for bottom set.
The one outer didn’t come on the turn or river, and a disappointed Quraishi headed to the payout desk, while Brass takes over the chip lead with just under 17 million in chips.
