The flop of [10h][7d][2c] meant that a chop was quite unlikely, and the [4d] on the turn left Gardner drawing to one of the three remaining jacks to win. The [4c] came instead though, sending Gardner to the payout desk, and vaulting Tree into a big chip lead with five remaining.
