Richard Parizer (pictured above) moved all in his final 1,500,000, and in the big blind, David Phillips (pictured below) called all in for just a couple of chips less. Parizer said he only saw one card, the [As], and then revealed the [2s] behind.
Phillips had him dominated with [Ac][9c], and the flop of [10c][8d][7h] kept Phillips with a big lead. The [4c] turn took an out away from Parizer, and to rub salt in the wound, that out, the [2c] came on the river, giving Parizer a pair, but also giving Phillips the nut flush.
Parizer still had 75,000 after that hand, and while he would win the next pot to boost his stack up to two big blinds before he moved all in. Beth Hall called, and Phillips reraised to 1,300,000. Hall then shoved all in, and Phillips called it off with [9s][9c]. Hall showed [As][Kd], while Parizer had one of her outs with [Ac][5h].
Hall wouldn’t need the ace though, as the window card was the [Ks], and another king came after that to give her flopped trips. No nine came after, and Hall scored the double knockout to soar back to the top of the counts.
