Action folded to Aaron Brumer, who raised to 1,500,000. Lihao Shen was in the small blind, and called all in for 2,100,000. Brumer said “I have pocket fours,” and slide chips in to call.
“Six outs,” responded Shen, who showed [Ac][7s]. The flop of [9h][8c][3d] didn’t bring much help, but the [Ad] turn sure did. A seven on the river gave him two pair, and table mate Tinlok Wong informed him he folded the same hand, meaning Shen really only had four outs.
Either way, Shen will take the double up back to just under five million.
