Blinds: 400,000/800,000
Marc Fiorentino raised to 2,000,000, and after Kyung Jin called in the big blind, Jorge Buitimea went for a small three bet to 4,800,000. Only Fiorentino called, and the flop of [Jh][10d][4c] saw Buitimea continue for five million. Fiorentino didn’t take too long to call, and after the [2h] turn, Buitimea shoved for 20,600,000.
Fiorentino went deep into the tank on this one, commenting about how Buitimea has done some interesting things at this final table. Fiorentino counted out the chips for the call, and at one point looked like he would make, as he called it, “the dumbest hero call ever,” before he eventually folded what he said was just a four.
Buitimea claimed Fiorentino was way behind, but declined to show his hand when Fiorentino asked him to prove it. After that pot, all four players are fairly balanced in chips, with no one having less than 30 million, but no one having more than 50 million either.
