We walked into the middle of a massive pot developing at the next table to break here in the Mega Millions Day 2B. What we saw was Edgar Gabrielyan in the tank after he had initially raised to 35,000. That bet was followed by an all in to 110,000, a re-raise to 210,000, and a five bet all-in from six time WSOP bracelet winner Brian Hastings of 380,000.
Gabrielyan eventually folded what he said was Ace-Queen of diamonds, which meant that all the aces were dead, as Hastings had [Ah][Ad], and his opponents had [As][10s] and [2c][2h]. The flop of [Kh][Ks][2s] flipped everything on it’s head, as the big stack was suddenly in position for a triple knockout with a flopped full house.
“It’s over,” someone said at the table, pointing out that all the aces were dead. However, a third king would still give the hand to the aces of Hastings, and sure enough, the [Kd] came right on the turn. Hastings immediately put his bag down and retook his seat, suddenly with a stack of over a million in chips after that wild runout!
