Huy Lam raised under the gun, and chip leader Marc Fiorentino three-bet on the button. Lam called, and the flop came down [Kh][Qs][7s]. Lam checked to Fiorentino, who fired 4,000,000. Lam check-raised to 14,000,000, which was a bit under half his stack, and Fiorentino didn’t waste much time before moving all in.
Lam counted his chips a few times and tanked for a couple of minutes before tossing a few chips in for the call. After seeing Fiorentino table [Ks][Qh] for top two pair, Lam said “Wow I’m drawing dead,” and showed [Kd][Jd]. He wasn’t drawing dead at that point, but he was after the [7h] turn.
Fiorentino scored the huge knockout of Lam, and with that pot, has taken an overwhelming lead. With seven players left, Fiorentino has half the chips in play with over 88,000,000.
