We walked up to the table to see two time WSOP bracelet winner and two time WPT Champion Erick Lindgren (pictured above) all in at his table. The board read [Qd][10d][8c][As], and the small blind had checked to Lindgren, who shoved for 140,000, which appeared to be about a pot sized bet.
His opponent thought for about a minute before calling for most of his chips, and Lindgren showed [Kd][4d] for a flush draw and straight draw. He quickly saw that the jack would be the only out possible for him though, as his opponent’s [Ad][5d] had him dominated.
A useless king came on the river, and Lindgren headed to the rail, though registration is still open, so he still has time to get back into the action.
