Registration has just closed here at Day 2A of the Mini Mega Millions, with a total of 180 Day 2 entries who added $216,000 to the prizepool today. One of those 180 is none other than 2025 WSOP Main Event Champion and Poker Hall of Famer Michael “The Grinder” Mizrachi, who got right back into the action on the first hand back from break.
Mizrachi raised to 20,000, and action folded to the big blind, who shoved all in for a new even stack. Mizrachi quickly called with [9s][9h], and he was flipping against his opponent’s [Kc][Jc]. Mizrachi was in rough shape after the flop of [Ks][8s][2d] gave his opponent top pair, but Mizrachi quickly flipped the script with the [9s] on the turn.
