Scott Shone raised from early position, and Scott Aulds defended his big blind. The two would then get the rest of Shone’s chips in on a flop of [8d][6d][5h], with Shone showing [7s][7c].
He was in a world of hurt though, as Aulds had flopped the joint with [9h][7d]. Shone was likely hoping for a chop at this point, but he picked up some outs for the win with the [5s] turn, as another five or the case seven would now flip the hand back to Shone.
However, the [2c] completed the board, and Aulds scored the big KO to even himself with Jared Kawalsky at the top with seven left.
