Once we got to heads up play, David Brookshire and Eric Prince realized that they were virtually dead even in chips, with Brookshire having him covered by just a couple of chips. The two players both wanted to banner, but house rules indicate that once a deal is struck, the tournament ends there, so they eventually agreed to chop it evenly, with Brookshire taking a couple bucks more home and the all important banner on the wall.
