Anthony Marquez (pictured above) and Andrew Wisdom (pictured below) are sitting at opposite ends of a stacked table that also includes Lynda Tran, Jonah Lopas, Alexander Stewart, and Nick Grippo.
Those two just clashed in a big pot that saw Marquez commit most of his stack by the river, on a completed board of [9d][8c][7s][2c][9h]. Marquez had fired 600,000 into a pot that had about 1,500,000, leaving himself about 700,000 behind. Wisdom tanked for about two minutes, saying at one point “that’s a good bet.”
Eventually, he folded reluctantly, and Marquez flashed a smile before flipping over [Qc][10d] for just queen high. Wisdom nodded his head and tapped the table, as the chips went over to Marquez to get him back closer to the average chips. It has still been a good day for Wisdom, who is right at average chips himself.
